　　When I was young,I always dreamed that I lived in a beautiful country. There were many flowers and trees around our city.We counld hear the birds singing and see the children dancing. The streets were clear and the the air was very fresh! How nice it was!But that only was a dream of mine!How I wish that it would be come true! So I think we should do something to protect our environment. Everyone should make a contribution to protect the environment.
　　Taking care of our environment is very important.Wherever you live,you can do something around your neighbourhood.
　　Have you ever thrown any litter onto the ground?Have you ever drawn pictures on public walls?Have you ever spat in a public place?Have you ever cut down trees?If your answers are ＂No＂,it means that you have already helped protect our environment.
　　It is our duty to keep our envionment clean and tidy. You might ask yourself,＂Have I ever picked up some rubbish and thrown it into a dustbin?Have I ever collected waste paper or bottles for recycling?Have I ever planted any trees or flowers in or near my neighbourhood?＂If your answers are＂Yes＂,it means that you have already done something useful to improve the environment.

　　as we all know, the challenge and opportunity always, confused with hope, in the 21st century, is also twin human facing challenges period. special performance in this aspect of the relation between man and nature. human deforestation, blind development farming, damaging the vegetation, causes soil erosion, desertification, any natural resources, make the underground mining mineral deposits in the increasingly exhausted, wastewater and waste, exhaust gas emission, make continuous natural environment seriously deteriorating.
　　human nature is excessive to take, suffer the nature ruthleretaliation: hurricane, rainstorm, storms, floods and drought, insect, heat, forest fires, earthquake, etc., the world because of drought disaster equipoised reasons caused the transference refugees until 20xx reach 100m. painful ecological lesson, has attracted the attention of the world and all mankind, ioc commission inspection bid cities, improving the eco-environment is one important content. china has issued a lot of environmental protection policies and regulations. our country also attaches great importance to the protection of environment education, the ＂building a green campus activities＂, in the country for grandeur.
　　students, our school is always in advocating ＂green wanli＂, which is one of important content protection beautify our campus. we often see many students on campus each picking up litter, with our own hands to protect a beautiful campus. however, we also often see some we don＂t want to see their scenario: the playground, stairs, corridor have the pa-pe-r scraps, the profession. again see the lawn, some classmates in trample, the school＂s green belts, sometimes found to have deep foot-prints, some places even gone became trail.
　　my fellow students, we is the 21st century master, awareneof environmental protection is modern signs. we must have the era of responsibility. responding to global, focus on the side, based on the campus. many curved waist, don＂t pick up peel confetti throws anywhere disorderly vomit, more step, don＂t crogreen belts, grassland. ＂kindnesmall and not for, is a sin to steal a pin,＂ starts from me, since the childhood, starts from the side with, starting from now. to protect the earth mother, purify the campus.
　　we only have one world
　　as is known to all , we have a beautiful world .we can see the sun shining. we can see the moon in a full view. we can see the birds flying in the sky. we can see the horses running on the plain. however, the world is not as beautiul as before, for human beings have brought a disaster to the world.
　　so it is high time that we should do something to change this situation. as a citizen, we can do much for it. for example, we could use disposable goods less. and we are supposed to save resources such as water, electricity and so on. also, we ought to plant more trees to reduce the greenhouse effect. in addition, we could try our best to publicize the knowledge of environment protection. because we only have one world.环境保护英语演讲稿3
　　We live in the world every day. We eat food, drink water, wear clothes, watch TV, use computers and so on. We are producing waste every moment.
　　Generally speaking, there are four sorts of waste. They are material waste, organic waste, inorganic waste and poisonous & harmful waste. Now, we are going to talk about each sort of waste one by one.
　　Material waste: it means the waste of substance or things from which something else can be made. For example, people throw away the used metal products and buy a new one, so the old metal waste accumulates. At last, they become waste. For example, when people finish reading newspaper, the paper will become waste. When the glass is broken, it also becomes waste. Nobody wants to use a broken window or drink with a broken glass or wear a pair of broken glasses. Once it is broken, it becomes waste. The rate of using plastics is increasing day by day. People use plastic bags because they are convenient. When they get home, they throw the plastics way, paying no attention to the environment. The more convenience plastics brings to us, the more plastic waste is produced. This is called ＂white pollution＂ as most plastics are white. Some of our products we use every day are made of rubber, just like the tyres and the bottom part of our shoes. It’s true that rubber plays an important role in our life. However, it also brings us some trouble when it has been used for a long time and becomes old. The old tyres become waste because it can’t break down by nature. 　　Today I am very glad here to share my opinionsabout the protection of environment.
　　With the development ofscience and technology ,different kinds of pollution has been produced andcaused global concern recently.
　　As we know, people have beenliving on the earth for thousands of years, human activity damaged natural environment, such as excessive abuse of natural resources ,the sewage dischargedfrom factories ,the animal slaughter ,kinds of chemical fertilizers andgreen-house effect. All that is mentioned above has a bad impact on the eco-system .Now, many animals aredying out. We are suffering from unhealthy food and water, we are faced withharmful rays and global warming. It was ourselves who had made a series oftroubles. As you can see, we are the final victim.
　　Above all, if we human beings cannot recognize theseserious problems and try our best to solve them soon, we would finally lose theenvironment suitable for us to live. So, it is our duty to protect theenvironment ,but what should we do to protect it?
　　In my opinion, the first and important thing is tounite all forces ,that is to say---gather all hearts together. Next we shouldprotect and plant more trees, which can dispose of the dust in the air. As forfamilies, it is effective to ride bicycles rather than drive cars. Don’t litteranywhere as you like. In addition, sorting and recycling the rubbish also playan essential role in the protection of our earth. We’d better call on everyone aroundus to lead a low-carbon life, as it may make a difference to the environment.
　　Thus, it’s high time that we did something to improveour surroundings. Everybody should raise the awareness to protect our motherearth. Let’s appeal to more people to join us.
　　All in all ,there’s no doubt that keeping the balanceof human and nature ,we will benefit a lot.
