铁陨石

　　陨石（meteorite）也称陨星，是地球以外脱离原有运行轨道的宇宙流星或尘碎块飞快散落到地球或其它行星表面的未燃尽的石质、铁质或是石铁混合的物质，陨石在降落地面前与大气层发生摩擦，在高速高温的环境下，表面会形成一层薄薄的熔壳。在降落的陨石中，铁陨石只占陨石降落的一小部分，但在收集的陨石中，铁陨石数量占所有陨石量的将近一半。这是由于由铁镍金属组成的铁陨石，保存时间可以很长，不像石陨石容易风化。铁陨石主要由铁纹石和镍纹石两种矿物组成，其次含有少量的石墨、陨磷铁镍矿、陨硫铬矿、陨碳铁、铬铁矿和陨硫铁等。在化学成分上除Ni和Fe外，还含有Co、S、P、Cu、Cr、Ga、Ge和Ir等元素。有少数铁陨石还含有硅酸盐包体。
　　此块铁陨石呈不规则体，体积小密度高，重量2708克，有着磁性，表面的熔壳、气印也是十分的明显，完全符合铁陨石的基本特性，陨石这几年还是有着不错的市场关注度，所谓的一石千金现今已不再是远古的神话，而是陨石收藏潜能的蓬勃爆发，前景非常可观，加上持有名家老师的鉴定证明，值得收藏。
